Woodhouse represents suppliers to buy and to sell timber, boards and construction materials, as a binder between the supplier and the customer. Since new markets opened for communicating both to the construction market and directly with the architects, the identity needed a lift. Our task was to communicate to both segments, despite being different in behavior. We used raw materials for print, combined with strong graphic images of wood materials at different stages to underline a close connection to the products and their clients.

from author website:

Urban Attitude is a novelty gift store with a long-standing cult following in Melbourne. With new owners and an intention for retail expansion nationally, FOD were commissioned to undertake an extensive re-brand and retail strategy to create a differentiated and memorable retail experience for the future. Collaborating with HASSELL, the new flagship store has now opened in Brunswick Street, Fitzroy. FOD also developed a suite of collateral and signage, which included lenticular cards, optical patterns, online games, streetscape flags and illuminated signage.

HORT’s concept for a new identity for the Bauhaus Dessau Foundation, relates more to the original ideas of Germany’s most influential Modernist school instead of relying on the visual clichés connected to Bauhaus. To ensure a unique identity

HORT’s concept for a new identity for the Bauhaus Dessau Foundation, relates more to the original ideas of Germany’s most influential Modernist school instead of relying on the visual clichés connected to Bauhaus.

To ensure a unique identity the Courier “A” has been modified according to Herbert Bayer’s well-known logo on the front of the Bauhaus Dessau building and the logotype is only ever set vertically.

Through this subtle modification of the most generic of typefaces, HORT have come up with a simple and appropriate identity that encapsulates Dieter Rams’ tenth principle, “Good design is as little design as possible”.

Apart from stationery, brochures, posters, tickets, website etc. the new identity also included the redesign of the signage of Gropius’ famous Bauhaus building. This factor making it even more important that a clear distinction could be made by visitors what was apart of the original structure and what new additions we had made.
